How MOFMED Medical Solutions Limited collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
This policy is a starting template written for a Nigerian medical supply business. Before publishing, have a qualified lawyer or your data protection officer review it against how your business actually handles data — we're not lawyers and this isn't legal advice.
1. Who we are
MOFMED Medical Solutions Limited ("MOFMED", "we", "us") supplies medical equipment, laboratory supplies, hospital consumables, diagnostic devices, oxygen and medical gas solutions, and the HealthWyse Hospital Management System to healthcare facilities in Nigeria.
We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and other applicable Nigerian law.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, job title and the facility or organisation you represent
- Contact details — email address, phone number and postal address
- The content of enquiries, quote requests, orders and demo bookings
- Delivery and billing details needed to fulfil an order
- Messages you send us on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp or by email
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page and the link or search that brought you here
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, patient medical records or other clinical health data through this website or our social media channels. If you need to share clinical information as part of a HealthWyse deployment, we will agree a secure channel and a separate written agreement with your facility first.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes and price lists
- To process, deliver and invoice orders
- To arrange installation, training, servicing and technical support
- To schedule visits from our sales representative
- To send product updates or offers where you have asked to receive them
- To improve our website, catalogue and service
- To meet our legal, tax, regulatory and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Contract — to supply the products and services you order from us.
- Legitimate interest — to run and improve our business, and to respond to business enquiries.
- Consent — for marketing messages and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where record-keeping, tax or regulatory rules require it.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Logistics and delivery partners who transport your order
- Manufacturers or distributors where a warranty claim, installation or technical support case requires it
- Service providers who help us run the business — website hosting, email, accounting and payment processing
- Professional advisers such as auditors and lawyers
- Regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to disclose
Where a provider is based outside Nigeria, we take reasonable steps to confirm your information stays protected to a standard consistent with the NDPA.
6. Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it. Essential cookies are needed for basic functions. Analytics cookies help us see which pages are useful.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for any period required by Nigerian tax, accounting and regulatory rules. Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted once they are no longer commercially relevant.
8. How we protect your information
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — access controls, secure transmission, and staff handling rules — to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our responsibility here seriously and will notify you and the relevant authority if a breach affects your rights.
9. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
To exercise any of these, email us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe set by law.
10. Children's privacy
This website is intended for healthcare professionals and business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
